The fabric of human relationships is knitted with each other in our normal life and hence we require the need and help from each other. Most of the time people stand for each other, but sometimes Sourness / discrimination occurs in relationships and then the warmth in the relationships decreases.
Mentioned below are some case studies.
Case Study 1 - Mohan Chandra was very upset because of his business dealings. He asked for help from one of his friends who has some good contacts. His friend also sincerely tried to resolve the issue, but despite all efforts, things could not be settled.
Mohan was financially and mentally disturbed, and out of frustration he felt that his friend did not help him according to his ability.
Case Study 2 - Manish Shekhar lives in Delhi and one of his relatives who lived in another small city, became seriously ill. Manish called him to Delhi because of the insistence of his relatives and the seriousness of the patient's condition. Manish arranged for a better treatment by getting an appointment with a good doctor.
Working in a private company Manish was having acute paucity of time but then also he tried to balance both, his office work and proper treatment of his relative. But after a few days, the relatives of the patient started complaining that Manish is not giving as much time as he should, and hence the relationship started.
Nowadays similar incidents are common and we hear people complaining that so and so has become a big man now. I had called him for a job/child’s admission/ favour from any particular person etc but he did not pick up the phone and ignored me.
I believe that apart from the exceptions, most of the people do not hesitate to help their friends or relatives according to their capability. But it is not always possible for everyone to do all the work even if his intentions are good and wants to help.
Secondly, we should ask for help or favour from others only if we become helpless or we could not find other measures. A lot of people have a tendency to assign the smallest of their jobs to others which they can easily accomplish themselves. They are basically parasitic people. It is also necessary to understand that if we repeatedly put our burden on someone, then he will certainly start ignoring me.
Therefore, if you want to maintain warmth of the relationship, then keep in mind that everyone has his own limitation, the fervour in the relationship will remain only as long as there is a sense of cooperation in the place of asking favor's only. Before expecting too much from anyone, definitely ask yourself if I would have been able to do as much as I expected.
