Congress State president Sukhdeo Bhagat has sought suggestions from all the senior party leaders, former and present MPs and MlAs ahead of the re-constitution exercise of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee.
The leaders have been given one week time to send their written suggestion in this regard. Writing letters to the leaders, Bhagat made it clear that he wanted to appoint devoted, committed, active and honest leaders and workers in the new committee whose size would not be more than 41office bearers. He had toured all the Divisions and made direct consultations with party workers.
“He has said that representation from all sections has to be made and for that views and sentiments of senior party leaders have to taken into account before the announcement is made. The consultation exercise is in that very direction,” said media in-charge Shailesh Sinha. Final list of the office bearers would be made public after getting approval from the Congress high command.
