IPRD Dir appeals Broadcasting Ministry to aid JSFDC
IPRD Director Awadhesh Pandey requested Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry to help in developing Jharkhand State Film Development Corporation (JSFDC). Pandey raised the issue in the meeting of Information Secretaries and senior officers conducted by Information and Broadcasting Ministry of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on Friday. Information and Broadcasting Secretary Ajay Mittal assured the Director that his department would not only help in implementing the technical aspects but also in making the workshop, seminar and conducting film festivals.
RMC conducts seminar on ‘Go Cashless’
Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Friday conducted a seminar on use of several new media applications to ensure cashless transaction for all services given by Nagar Nigam at present. Mayor, Deputy Mayor, RMC officials including all ward councilors attended the seminar.
HC allows Siddhartha to argue the case
A PIl related to the illegal diversion of forest land for coal mining and illegal and forcible acquisition of farmers’ land in Badkagaon was heard by the Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Pradeep Kumar Mohanty and Justice Anand Sen on Friday at the Jharkhand High Court. During the hearing, National President of Suraj Dal PK Siddharth and Ekta Parishad's Birendra Kumar were allowed to argue the case before Court. Overruling the objection advanced by the Advocate General, the Court also allowed Birendra Kumar to advance arguments in absence of Siddhartha. After hearing Siddharth and the Addl. Advocate General the Counsels for the Government, the NTPC, the Pollution Board and other respondents the Court ordered them to file their reply to the points raised in the PIl petition.
Prizes of Inter Regional Institution’s Torny distributed
Prizes were distributed among the winners of three day Inter-Regional Institutin’s Tournament by CMPDI Director (Technical/RD&T) VK Sinha. Winner Regional Institute 3 Ranchi with 150 points and runner up Headquarters Ranchi with 104 points were awarded by Sinha. Special Guest Director (Technical/P&D) Vinay Dayal and Director (Technical and ES) Asim Kumar Chakraverty also gave awards to several other winners in different fields.
