CM orders action against officers
Chief Minister Raghubar Das has ordered Anti Corruption Bureau to take legal action against the Chief Engineers- Om Prakash and Sajjad Hassan, Executive Engineer Nazre Imam and Suresh Prasad, Assistant Engineer Pankaj Kumar and other theree Junior Engineers – Sitaram Singh, Shiv Kumar Pathak and Pradeep Kumar Manjhi. Action will also be taken against three contractors – Rakesh Prasad Sinha, Sanjay Kumar, Sujit Kumar and Sunil Kumar Chaudhary of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department who have been found guilty in multi-crore hand-pump scam by Technical Examiner Cell of Cabinet Vigilance Department.
Best out of waste at Bal Kala Samagam
Jharkhand Art and Cultural Directorate in association with Kalakriti School of Art is organising a week long workshop for kids at Audrey House. Artistic work from best out of waste material was designed on the second day of the Bal Kala Samagam workshop. Art and cultural Directorate, Secretary, Ashok Kumar Singh was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Yuva Foundation demands liquor ban
Yuva Udaan Foundation members have demanded to shut down all the liquor shops which are functioning in the city especially those which are situated near the religious places. Members of the foundation while submitting the report mentioned that these liquor shops have become a place of crime and often creates trouble for the denizens.
