Governor Droupadi Murmu on Sunday attended Yoga session organised at Yogoda Satsang Math. On the occasion Governor said, “Yoga is an effective healing agent and must be adopted by one and all for healthy lifestyle.” Apart technical session, basic information about Yoga was imparted among the participants.
aMTI holds UDAAN Quiz
MIT Ranchi organised the 6th Business Quiz for Corporate UDAAN 2016 in association with National HRD Network, Ranchi Chapter on Sunday. Around 60 teams from various Plants/units of SAIl and from other corporate houses like Godrej and Boyce, IOC, NAlCO, NTPC, NMDC, IFFCO, RINl, TATA Steel, CAPGEMINI, MECON, Central Coalfields limited (CCl), NSPCl, PGCIl, participated in the Business Quiz. Topics covered in the quiz were recent business/management concepts, marketing, brand, business personalities, advertisements, current business events. Out of 60 teams, 6 teams qualified for the grand finale.
CMF distribute clothes among poor
Clean Media Foundation (CMF) members on Sunday distributed clothes among poor people residing in Kamdara village, Gumla. Members also interacted with the people, where they narrated and highlighted the present status of village. Notably, the village even lacks basic amenities like schools, transportation etc.
All India Bank Federation Meet held
All India Bank Federation and Pensioners meet was conducted on Sunday at SDC. In the presence of Secretary, S Sarkar and S Mukherjee, GM of the federation, bank staffs presented their demands and said that DA of all those bank officials and staffs must be increased who retired in 1986.
lions Club organises mass marriage
lions Club of Ranchi Capital organised a mass marriage ceremony for 21 couples at Jagannathpur Temple on Sunday. All the couples who were wedded attended the ceremony along with their family members. The Pioneer, Jharkhand Edition, MD, Pawan Bajaj, Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijaywargia, Traffic SP Manoj Ratan Chothe and other dignitaries blessed the couples on the beginning of their married life.
