Collectorate officials, staff take oath
Ranchi:In an attempt to make people aware about election and electorate procedure, Deputy Development Commissioner, Birendra Kumar Singh on Saturday conducted oath ceremony for the staffs and officials of Collectorate. Singh also requested to all the denizens to participate in the Race, being organised to create awareness about elections among the people.
Schoolkids celebrate Netaji Birth Anniversary
Students of Ramakrishna Vidya Niketan celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. School Principal, Vinita Kumari addressed the school students, highlighting about the life and achievement of Netaji. School Kids presented skit, drama and other cultural activities on auspicious occasion.
85 heart patients at health camp
Anjuman Islamia Hospital conducted a free heart check up for the patients here on Saturday. The camp witnessed about 85 heart patients wherein heart surgeon Dr Pervez Alam and Dr Pankaj Gupta checked them and advised them proper care and treatment. The hospital even carried out the ECG and the angiography tests of these patients for free of cost. The hospital management also announced that a Blood Pressure and Diabetes checkup camp would be organized on Sunday wherein patients would be consulted for free.
Disaster management training for students
Basic concepts of disaster management were imparted among the B.Ed students. The state disaster management team visited Samparndeep BEd College at Ratu Block and made students aware about various aspects of disaster and several measures to combat such situations.
Morhabadi Bachao Samiti remembers Netaji
Morhabadi Maidan Bachao Sangharsh Samiti commemorated Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 119th birth anniversary. Chairing the Committee’s meeting, Convenor Pranav Kumar Babbu appreciated the hoisting of world’s biggest Tricolour at Pahari Mandir. It was decided to hold a felicitation ceremony on Sunday to honour those who played role in hoisting the biggest Indian national flag.
