Staff Reporter

Students of Naya-Raipur based Hidayatullah National law University, in association with IDBI Bank, conducted a survey-cum-awareness drive here from January 11-4 and taught common people various ways to do the digital transaction, the benefits related to them and the precautions they have to take while being part of it

The drive was part of Vittiya Saksharta Abhiyan and students of the legal Aid and Social Services Committee of the University actively participated in it.   A team comprising of students interacted with residents of Abhanpur and the villages of Uparwara, Nemora and Kendri during the drive and taught them how to do the digital transactions.

The basic purpose of the `Vittiya Saksharta Abhiyan’ is to actively engage the youth/students of higher educational institutions to encourage and motivate all payers and payees to use a digitally enabled cashless economic system for transfer of funds.

Ministry of Human Resource Development views the institutions of higher education in the country, faculty members and students to take the lead and act as engines of the transformational shift.
