Ramdev uses derogatory words against PM

SR

Ramdev has again sparked controversy by using derogatory words against Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh while addressing a Press conference here on Thursday. The Yoga guru also kept his mouth shut over the question about self-styled godman Asaram who is presently behind the bar for alleged sexual assault on a minor girl.

Ramdev was in Raipur to participate in a voters’ awareness program. Talking with reporters here, he said it is better for Dr Manmohan Singh to quit from the post of PM and then serve the Gandhi family. He also said that ‘10-Janpath’ has become a place of political brokers, adding the entire Government is being Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. The regime of Sonia Gandhi will be remembered as period marred with corruption, charged Ramdev.

To a query about his inclination with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Ramdev replied that assurance from BJP Prime minstrel candidate Narendra Modi about tackling corruption and crime in politics has gained his support. “Three people, Modi, Mohan Bhagwat and I, are on the target of Congress party which is trying to harass us,” he said and added that he would not enter the Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar for the next nine months and would campaign nationwide for sweeping away the UPA Government.

The Yoga Guru appreciated former Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and said that the party made him President not to give respect but to sideline him  from mainstream politics.
