The presiding and polling officers underwent training at Gariaband, Devbhog and Rajim in the district on Tuesday.
The training was offered to a total of 315 presiding officers and 370 polling officers in Gariaband, 151 presiding officers and 121 polling officers in Devbhog besides 160 presiding officers and 174 polling officers in Rajim.
Collector Hemant Pahare made a surprise inspection of the training programmes in Gariaband and Rajim.
During his inspection, the Collector also sought information on the points made at the training programme from the presiding officers and the polling officers.
Pahare also sought information on the mock poll to be conducted before the polls besides other procedures for conducting polls.
