A court on Thursday sentenced the man to life term for killing a colleague inside a power plant in Raipur district in 2017, a government lawyer said.
Public Prosecutor K.K. Shukla said Additional Sessions Judge Mamta Patel found Vakesh Kumar Sahu guilty of murder.
Sahu was a resident of Tada village on the outskirts of Raipur city.
On October 6, 2017, he crushed Chamanlal Sahu with a stone over an affair with a woman both were pursuing.
