State Bharatiya Janata Party President Ramsevak Paikra on Monday has termed the first list of 67 names announced for the Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh as ‘balanced’ with candidates set to ensure victory for the party.
‘The BJP follows the tradition of including all sections of the Society as equal stakeholders in sharing of power. It is apparently clear from the first list of candidates that the candidates were announced after a lot of discussions in the party,’ he said in a statement issued here.
Paikra said that the list comprises representation from all sections of the Society. The BJP has a democratic and assured way of ticket distribution system unlike the Congress party, he added.
