Suggestions and complaints being provided by members of Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) play a vital role in upgrading passenger facilities provided by at Railway stations and trains in Raipur division. Moreover, better communication between Railway officials and DRUCC members is necessary for upgrading facilities,” said Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Raipur, Rahul Gautam.
Addressing the third meeting of DRUCC (2014-16) on Thursday, Gautam said for strengthening communication between concerned Railway officials and DRUCC members, he and other Railway officials are giving prompt hearing to suggestions and complaints of the members received through phone, social networking sites and SMS.
Meanwhile, the the DRM gave attentive hearing to the feedback given by DRUCC members regarding facilities available at Railway stations under Raipur division and assured to take necessary action for developing amenities at such stations.
Interacting with DRUCC members, Gautam informed that for maintaining high-level cleanliness at Railway stations falling in jurisdiction of Raipur division, he and senior Railway officials personally conducting surprise inspections frequently.
Besides, he also highlighted that the status of various developmental works ongoing in the division.
On the occasion, Deepak Sharma has been unanimously elected for Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee (ZRUCC).
