Human and the nature are dependent of each other. If the earth is a habitable place, nature has a great role in making it so, if the balance between human and the nature is disturbed it would the human beings who will ultimately have to face the consequences. Entire world is expressing concern over the exploitation of Nature and Environment, a matter one should understand beforehand.

We as human beings have the right to explore nature and use the proceeds but if we indulge in brutal exploitation of the Nature, our future generation will have to face difficulty. Therefore, we all will have to take the oath of protection of environment before it is too late, said Navin Vishwakarma, president of Geedam Nagar Panchayat.

Notably, marking the World Biodiversity Day, Geedam Forest sub division organised a symposium Wednesday in which speakers highlighted the importance of environment conservation destruction less development.

In the symposium, president of Geedam Nagar Panchayat Navin Vishwakarma was chief guest while Dada Jokalu, president of laghu Vanopaj Union Chaitram Atami, Bogaram Tati, Rakesh Gupta, Santosh Gupta, journalist Yaswant Yadav and others were present as special guests.

Speaking on this occasion Vishwakarma said that development without destruction was the need of the hour. We feel more pleasure in saving a tree than planting a sapling. On this occasion, he also informed about the work done by the Nagar Panchayat towards conservation of environment.

In his address, Dada Jokalu alleged that amid the continuous sloganeering of development we have forgot our vows of Nature’s protection, which is in fact a very grave matter. 20 years ago, there was greenery in Jagargunda area and ponds were brimming up with water but now there are drought and the stretch of nude lands, reason of which is brutal exploitation of the Nature as well as the environment, he said.
