Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders of Chhattisgarh on Saturday staged a day-long virtual sit-in to protest against the alleged failure of the Congress government in controlling the Covid-19 pandemic. Former Chief Minister Raman Singh as well as senior leader Brijmohan Agrawal sat on dharna at their residences in Raipur. Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik protested in Bilaspur. State BJP President Vishnu Deo Sai staged a dharna at Bagicha in Jashpur district. In a statement, Raman Singh alleged mismanagement vis-a-vis the pandemic in Chhattisgarh. “The Baghel government has failed on every front and the situation is the state has taken alarming proportions,” he said.
