Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday reviewed the situation prevailing in the State after the demonetisation of `500 and `1,000 currency notes here.
He was informed in the meeting that 1500 ATMs out of 2800 had been calibrated in the State till now. There are about 3400 ‘Bank Mitras’ deployed . About `3.50 crore are being disbursed to 25,000 customers at banks, post-offices and designated centres on a daily basis.
Micro-ATMs are located at petrol pumps. The meeting decided to give an advance salary of `10,000 to Class-III and IV State Government staff. Industry Minister Amar Agrawal, Additional Chief Secretary NK Agrawal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Aman Kumar Singh, Industry Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, Revenue Secretary Amitabh Agrawal and several senior officers were also present.
