Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday congratulated the state’s renowned Panthi dancer Dr Radheshyam Barle on being conferred the Padma Shri Award 2021.
Congratulating Dr Barle, Baghel said Dr. Barle is taking the message of Baba Guru Ghasidasji to the people through the dance of Panthi. He has made Chhattisgarh and the country proud with his art.
Dr Barle was born in village Khola in Durg district on October 9, 1966. Along with an MBBS degree, he acquired a diploma in folk music from the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh.
He has received several national and state level awards.
