The Bharat Aluminium Company ltd (BAlCO) is now certified 'ISO 55001:2014 - Asset Management System Company', a company press release informed here on Wednesday.
The Asset Management system is a risk based approach. Assets and value realised from them are the basis for any organisation delivering what it aims to do, it informed.
BAlCO started the journey of Asset Management System Certification in the month of April-16 and it received the certification in the time span of four months, the press release informed.
Areas covered under Certification are CPP2, Cast House 2&3, Potline-1, Carbon , Finance, Purchase and learning & Development.
Notably, BAlCO also is the 5th in India (3rd in Vedanta limited) to receive the ISO 55001:2014 certification, it informed.
