The Woman and Child Development Department has invited applications from the interested poor families who want to get their daughters married in the community marriage held under ‘Mukhya Mantri Kanyadaan Yojana’, informed in an official statement issued here on Monday.
The applicants who want to avail benefits under the scheme would need to be more than 18 years of age and connected to Chief Minister Food Grain Assistance Scheme while holding the card issued to the beneficiaries or from Below Poverty line (BPl) families.
The age of the prospective groom should be over 21 years of age.
The beneficiaries can avail the benefits under the scheme by contacting an Anaganwadi worker, Observer or the Office of the Project Officer in the district.
