Vendor Meet 2016 was organised by NTPC Korba here in a bid to make vendors familiar with general purchase procedure of the company post MSE (Medium & small Enterprises) Act regime.
Prakash Tiwari, Group General Manager, NTPC Korba inaugurated the one-day meet which was attended by over hundred vendors of NTPC Korba station. Speaking on the occasion, Tiwari called upon the representatives from various MSMEs to make use of the occasion and observed that such interface would help both the station as well as vendors in maintaining healthy business practices in future.
Earlier, C B Mahajan welcomed the gathering and briefly spoke about the objective of the programme including various benefits being offered to MSME vendors by NTPC.
Executives of C&M Department made presentations on the subject and later there was one-to-one interaction with vendors having specific queries. Among others, C Dakshinamurthy, GM (Technical Services), Basuraj Goswami, GM (CHP), Amit Mukherjee, AGM (Business Excellence), S K Dutta, AGM (TAD), T K Paul, AGM (C&M-Matreials), TVV Subrahamanyam, AGM (C&M-Purchase) and others were present.
