Mulayam attacks Modi

PNS

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi charging he had mislead the country and has failed to fulfill the promises made in therun up to the 2014 lok Sabha polls.

"Neither the PM fulfilled the promises of providing jobs to the youths nor did he bring back black money to India. He even reneged on his promise of reclaiming land grabbed by China and Pakistan," he said at a function after inaugurating a temple in Amritpur in Etawah on Friday. Yadav said that the PM has played with the sentiments of the people and the latter would certainly teach him a lesson in the days to come.

Assuring people of the region that all their problems would be redressed, Yadav asked them to approach him for the next two days at his Etawah home if they had any issue.

Expressing that he was not interested in contesting lok Sabha polls but since it was important for the party, he contested the polls from two constituencies - Mainpuri and Azamgarh.

The former CM said that the present SP government has fulfilled all its promises made during the 2012 Assembly poll campaign. "In the next two months, people would start getting adequate power. aIf anyone is critically ill and want to go to foreign country for treatment, the state government will provide them financial assistance," the SP president assured.

But Yadav seemed peeved over the laxity of party workers in not propagating the achievements of the government. "The party workers are not making the people aware of the policies and schemes of the government," he commented.
