UP minister Azam Khan on Tuesday, retracted from his statement justifying the killing in Paris by the ISIS after the French envoy in Delhi, Francois Richer commented that Rshe was saddened by the remarks’.

Khan said that he had never justified the Paris carnage and explained, “I had condemned the act of terror in Paris. The TV channels had twisted my remarks with an eye on enhancing their TRPs.’’

On November 15, asked to react on the multiple terror strike at Paris, Azam Khan while describing the French capital as Rsa city of sleaze known for dance, music and alcohol’, said that it was a case of reaction against action by imperial powers.

He had suggested that the super powers should realize that the bombs dropped by their jets in the Middle Eastern states also kill poor and innocent people and destroy their homes and whatever little they own. Khan’s statement was in referrence to NATO powers (US, France etc) bombing the ISIS strongholds in Iraq and Syria.

On second thoughts, Khan had also added, “The killing of innocents can never be justified  and should be condemned. If immediate remedial steps were not taken then the situation will further deteriorate and may lead to another world war.’’
