CM Attacks Modi

PNS

Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for misguiding the people by present wrong financial figures on pending dues of cane farmers while addressing a rally in Gorakhpur.

“Duringthe Gorakhpur rally, the PM presented distorted figures to the gathering saying that the cane arrears in UP had come down to Rs 175 crore from the initial Rs 3000 crore. The PM is really concerned about the well being of UP, but how can he dish out wrong information. I am trying to figure out who fed the wrong information to the PM,” Yadav said at a function where he feted scientists, doctors, teachers and Sanskrit scholars at his residence on Saturday morning.

Expressing his annoyance over his name missing from the  foundation stone plaque of AIIMS at Gorakhpur which was laid by the PM on Friday, the CM  pointed out,” The UP government gave 200 acres of land for the AIIMS free of cost. I was not even called for the AIIMS programme at Rae Bareli either. But I do not want a Mahabharata over the issue.”

“Such thing has always been witnessed by Samajwadi leaders as they do not work for getting credit and it is hijacked by someone else. But we don’t care and will continue to serve the state and focus on development,” he asserted.

Yadav said that it is good that the premier medical institutes were being constructed in Rae Bareli and Gorakhpur for which the state government has fulfiled its committment of providing land for both projects.
