BJP condemns Patna serial blasts

Pioneer News Service, PS

Bharatiya Janata Party's condemned the serial blast just before Narendra Modi’s rally in Patna and alleged that it was not just callousness on part of State as well as Central security agencies but amounts to criminal negligence. Charging the Bihar Government for overlooking the intelligence inputs, national spokesperson of the BJP

Sudhanshu Trivedi claimed here at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon that the incident had four dimensions. This is first terror attack in Hindi heartland on a major political rally. Secondly the attack occurred on the main Opposition Party in the country and that too in the biggest rally in the recent years. The third was that attack targeted prime ministerial candidate of the main Opposition Party and lastly it was made in presence of  huge crowd and that when two main speakers - BJP national president Rajnath Singh and PM’s candidate Narendra Modi, who were covered under Z Plus category were also present", he cited.

Trivedi said despite of the above factors, terror attack was made in the rally and now investigations made so far are pointing that it was committed for violence against the leaders and public at large. He claimed that the callousness shown by both Bihar Government and the Centre is a clear case of criminal negligence. He said that the Bihar government claimed that they received no clear information by intelligence agencies but BJP had already pointed the details of the inputs.

However, he said that whether the inputs were Rs actionable’ or not can be argued between the Bihar and Central government but the public wanted to know that when Rahul Gandhi could get input on ISI’s move to lure Muslim youths of Muzaffarnagar to take up terror activities or Digvijay Singh of many vital intelligence inputs than what information they received prior to any such terror attacks took place in the country. He alleged that IB is losing it’s grip on such terror activities as they spent most of the time on collecting political inputs than working of activities of subversive forces.
