Throwing shoes at politicians to humiliate them has become the latest way of gaining cheap publicity. Insulting senior leaders in this way is not only shameful but it is a symptom of the cultural deprivation of our times. Whatever the grievance against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal may be, the way to deal with it is not by throwing ink or shoes at him.
