Sir — The bomb blast in Bangalore is a grim reminder of the fact that terrorists are at large and can strike at will. The pain and anguish of the injured is shared by all Bangaloreans in particular and people across India in general. Terrorists are indiscriminate killers without humanity and religion.
While condemnations of the dastardly act have come from all quarters, the political parties have been quick to draw mileage from the incident with an eye on the forthcoming election. The irresponsible comments from politicians, and the blame-game they indulged in, have only added to insecurity of the people.
The security agencies have a big responsibility and the politicians will do well to allow these professional agencies to do their job without any interference.
