Sir — This refers to the article, “Kashmir valley : From nowhere to nowhere” (July 17) by Balbir Punj. We must condemn with one voice all cowards and fanatic elements, be they the Islamic State or the Taliban or the gau-rakshak terror brigades. These regressive agents masquerading as religious forces want to pull us back to the dark medieval ages. These cowards are on the prowl from Una to Amarnath to find soft targets to lynch humanity. Indeed, they want to replace democracy by mob rule and humanism by cannibalism. We should have zero tolerance towards such intolerant forces.
