Sir — This refers to the article, “BJP must rethink strategy” (April 17) by Jasim Mohammad. If we closely analyse the four years of Modi governance, there is a long list of achievements which is mostly invisible to most people. For them, what matters more are things like the
(imagined) dilution of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, while succumbing to divisive demands by the Opposition.
But they are not to be blamed because generally, people tend to be short-sighted. In a situation like this, it is important that Prime Minister Modi shows how the lives of common man are improving, how acche din have actually arrived.
