Sir — This refers to the article, “New Government, old escapist attitudes” (May 22) by Kalyani Shankar. The writer has correctly highlighted the Delhi Government’s terrible conduct as the ugly fight between the Aam Aadmi Party and the lt Governor continues. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal believes in ‘my way or the highway’, and does not care for established norms and procedures of governance.
He has picked up an unnecessary fight to distract attention from his poor performance record as Chief Minister. He parted company with his party’s co-founders Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav and Anand Kumar. Earlier, he had deserted his mentor Anna Hazare. Mr Kejriwal should mend his ways before it is too late and the voters ditch him.
