Sir — This refers to the article, “Tibet: A ‘problem’ that India glossed over” (September 24) by Rajesh Singh. Be it Kashmir, Tibet or the Eastern Province in Sri lanka, Jawaharlal Nehru’s lack of vision caused irreparable damage to India’s integrity.
In contrast, the UK has shown great sagacity in containing the Chinese dragon and the Russian bear by promoting Tibet and Afghanistan as buffer states.
