This refers to the article, “A comprehensive view of terrorism” (March 28) by Gwynne Dyer. It is disappointing that the writer has in his article trivialised terrorism and its impact on the affected. True, death can occur due to natural and human-made causes, but death due to terrorism has bigger consequences for the good of mankind.
Terrorism can be dismissed as a minor irritant and a publicity stunt. It is not enough to merely condemn terrorism; all efforts need be made to corner and crush terrorists in a legal manner. Those who indirectly and deviously support terrorists and their actions, as had happened in the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus in February, must be exposed and brought to justice.
