lambasting the ruling Samajwadi Party for its obsession with “Modi phobia”, the State BJP has asked the opponents of the party to clarify that whether they were against the development of Uttar Pradesh on the pattern of Gujarat which has emerged as a role model for the development and good governance in recent years under the able leadership of Narendra Modi.
State BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak while talking to mediapersons on Monday said that earlier an egoistic Minister and now the ruling party in its official statement was claiming that it would not allow UP to become Gujarat.
“What non sense this is all aboutIJ Gujarat has registered industrial growth rate of 16 per cent and agricultural growth rate of 11 per cent and people getting power supply there uninterrupted on cheaper rates than UP,” he said.
