Congress has alleged that Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao has made several false claims over funding issues on the irrigation projects in the newly carved state during his presentation in the floor of Assembly early March this year. Telangana Pradesh Congress president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the CM's presentation in Assembly on irrigation projects on March 30 this year was full of lies. Reddy claimed that the Congress party conducted a thorough and in-depth research on the claims made by KCR and found them to be false, hollow and complete farce and simultaneously challenged the CM to prove how he would create a new Ayacut of one crore acres in Telangana State.
