The lone international cricket player from Jammu & Kashmir Parvez Rasool is all set to start a cricket academy in his native town Bijbehara in South Kashmir. An indigenous spice company would sponsor his project.
“Today the road map for establishing the state-of-the- art Parvez Rasool Cricket Academy at Model Higher Secondary School Bijbehara Anantnag was finalised in collaboration with Kanwal Foods,” a post in the official Facebook page of Directorate of School Education Kashmir reads. Parvez represented India in ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka.
