Noida police have registered an FIR against a cop for sexually assaulting two minors on Monday. Police said that, parents of two minor boys have approached SP Crime office alleging that the victims were picked up from Sector 45 by cops in PCR number 36.
In the complaint, parents of the victims have alleged that the boys were detained by two cops and asked to sit inside the PCR van on Monday morning. The victims claim Ram Babu and Prem, both constables, were already sitting in the van and the third Gyan Singh sexually assaulted them. After which they were released and went to their parents and narrated the incident.
Parents immediately visited SP Crime’s office who further informed the senior Superintendent of Police who ordered inquiry into the matter and asked the Circle Officer-I to investigate. Meanwhile police have registered an FIR against Gyan Singh at Sector 39 police station under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act). Police are also taking the help of NGO Childline in the matter.
