Four unidentified bike-borne assailants allegedly robbed of a 25-year-old man, working with Air India’s Terminal-3 at IGI Airport. The incident took place in Vasant Kunj (South) area of South Delhi when the victim was returning home from his office.
The victim, Abhishek Dalah, is a resident of Dwarka Sector 26 and the incident occurred on Friday night when after finishing his shift around 4 am, he took a cab.
“The cab dropped him in Vasant Kunj on NH-8 and he took to the service lane and started walking. Meanwhile, one motor cyclist asked him for directions to Mahipalpur,” a senior police officer said.
Police said when the victim was trying to tell him the direction, then suddenly three more assailants came from behind and one of them hit me on my hand with an iron rod.
later, they robbed of his Galaxy Note 2 phone, his wallet containing `2,000 and wrist watch. The victim then made a call to the Police Control Room and informed about the incident.
