In a bizarre way to punish allegedly corrupt Government official, activists of a little-known lok Rakshak Seva Samiti, on Tuesday forced a Government official to eat currency notes with pickle.
A group of 30-35 people belonging to the Samiti, including women, stormed in to the office of Dharmin Vyas, an officer in the professional tax office of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, West zone, at Bodakdev and forced him to eat currency notes along with pickle. The official later filed a police complaint.
