A police constable deployed at the Patiala House Court Complex stabbed his parents to death in Southwest Delhi’s in Chhawla area. The accused has been identified as Neeraj (28) and was arrested by the police from his residence. The constable Neeraj murdered his mother Kamlesh and father Dharamveer, both in their 40’s, and dumped their bodies in the nearby vacant plot.
Police officials said, the murder must have taken place on Saturday but will only confirm the time of the incident after the post-mortem reports come. The incident came to light when their bodies were spotted by the plot owner where Neeraj had dumped them. Neeraj had conflicts with his parents over family problems mainly marital problems and was under depression too.
Police said, Neeraj could not bear his parent’s interference in his married life with his second wife, who had also given birth to a baby girl recently. Neeraj’s first wife had left him and he was scared that if his parents continued to interfere, he might loose his second wife too. This made him to take such an impulsive step and he murdered his parents, police officers claimed.
