Circle rates have been revised upwards by about 20% from August 1, while GDA has decided to freeze any more escalation during the current financial year. The decision comes in the wake of a sharp fall in sale of properties.
Proposed appreciation has been put on hold, along with the collector's rate. Sales deeds will now be executed at Rs 1,40,000 per sq m in RDC, Rs 65,000 per sq m in Kaushambi, Rs 60,000 in Indirapuram and Surya Nagar, Rs 50,000 in Vasundhara, Rs 46,000 in Raj Nagar, Rs 40,000 in Kavi Nagar and Gandhi Nagar, Rs 39,000 in Nehru Nagar, Rs 36,000 in Ashok Nagar, Rs 34,000 in lohia Nagar, Rs 30,000 in Govindpuram, Crossings Republik and Sanjay Nagar, Rs 25,000 in Raj Nagar Extension, Rs 22,000 in Wave City.
