Nehru remembered on 52nd death anniversary

Delhi Congress on Friday remembered first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his 52st death anniversary at party headquarters. Addressing party workers on the occasion, Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken said the firm steps taken by former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for the all-round development of the country with foresight and fortitude were now bearing fruits as whatever developments that have been witnessed in the country were the results of Nehruji’s vision.  This has helped India overcome the teething troubles following the hard-won freedom and move towards development, progress, prosperity and self-reliance. Maken and other Congress leaders offered floral tributes at Nehru’s portrait.
