As a part of its social initiatives, International Club of BHEl Haridwar in association with Indian Medical Association (IMA)’s blood bank Dehradun organised a voluntary blood donation camp here on Wednesday. The camp was inaugurated by executive director (HEEP) BHEl Haridwar Prakash Chand. In all, 155 units of blood were collected. The donated blood bags were handed over to IMA for proper storage. Speaking on the occasion, Chand said blood donation is noble in view of the fact that it saves life and bring smiles on the faces of the loved ones. Donors were given certificates of appreciation for their service to the cause of humanity. Club general secretary Inder Kumar thanked all the donors. On behalf of IMA, Dr Manish Sharma, Mohit Chawla, D S Tiwari, Ishrar and Ashish were present during the camp.
