After the unilateral exercise of Congress ruled State Government of cancellation of BJP MP Anurag Thakur led HPCA, a verbal duel has started between Opposition BJP and Congress with former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal alleging that Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has a feudal mindset.
“He has displayed feudal mindset during his two-day tour Hamirpur district,” said Dhumal. He even raised question on cricket and sports tournaments being organised in memory of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s late father Maharaja Padam Singh and his mother Shanti Devi.
“He (Virbhadra Singh) thinks that by organising cricket tournaments annually in memory of his father Padam Singh he was developing cricket,” said Dhumal in a statement. He questioned the funds collected for the purpose of organising Maharaja Padam Singh Cricket Tournament.
Dhumal suggested that Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh should not lose his calm and instead reply to queries raised by him on securing loans from a private individual and inquiry pending during his stint as Union Steel Minister.
