A joint eviction team consisting of officials from the BDA, the BMC, the GA Department and the Commissionerate Policeon Wednesday demolished unauthorised constructions on the GA Department plots at IRC Village here.
During the eviction drive, a temporary structure and fence, a garage, a house made of bricks, tin sheet and polythene shed, a concrete wall, a cabin and a CC platform were demolished. A total of 9,650 square ft GA land was made free from the encroachments by the squad.
BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Patro, liasioning Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty, GA Department RI Jagannath Satapathy and Nayapalli PS IIC Surya Narayan Pradhan were present during the demolition. A platoon of gents APR Force and a Section lady Force were engaged at the site to maintain law and order.
