Pradhan flays Naveen for teaching transparency to DMs

PNS

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday severely criticised Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for teaching District Collectors transparency while his Government has failed to provide ration cards under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).

“The Collectors are being taught to cover up the Naveen Patnaik Government’s failures and to hoodwink people for the coming two years,” Pradhan alleged and wanted that the Chief Minister should clarify as to why deserving beneficiaries have not been distributed ration cards yet.

He made this allegation at a joining meeting at Kendrapada. He ridiculed that the Chief Minister’s most deserving NFSA beneficiary was the CMC Mayor.

Pradhan lamented that people are not getting Central assistances to set up toilets without giving bribe to Government officials. He too alleged that poor people are not getting Central assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh under Prime Minister Awas Yojna unless they put up ‘Biju Pucca Ghar’ signboard in front of their houses.
