Vigilance police on Thursday arrested Cuttack district’s Nemal police station ASI Pranakrushna Naik on charge of demanding and accepting bribe of Rs1,000 from a person to compromise a disputed matter. Acting on a complaint of Md Arsad of Bidyadharpur, Cuttack, the Vigilance police laid a trap and detected the case and seized the bribe money from Naik. His rented houses at Jaladia and Bidyadharpur are under search, an official release informed.
