Supporters and workers of the Samajwadi Party led by its State unit president Rabi Behera staged a demonstration at the Master Canteen Square here on Tuesday demanding that the Additional Chief Secretary Taradutt-led Taskforce report on land and house allotment scam.
later, a four-member delegation of the party submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister’s Office Special Secretary PK Mohapatra on the matter.
Though the Taskforce has already given its report to the Government on October 3, Behera said, the Government was yet to make it public or take action in the matter. “Why the State Government is not making the report publicIJ Is it fearing the people,” questioned Behera.
The party members also said that the Chief Minister should take action against the persons who are found guilty. They also demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter.
