A dance teacher was arrested here for outraging the modesty of his student at WB Dance Academy near Jhanda Chowk here on Saturday evening.
According to police reports, the victim, a class-II girl registered herself in dance Class three months back. On Saturday evening at about 5 pm, the girl had gone to toilet to attend the call of nature in the dance institute, when teacher Irfan Ali (24) alias Idul chased her, molested the girl and forced her to have sex inside the toilet.
However, the girl protested it and started crying. After returning home, the girl disclosed everything to her parents, following which she, along with her the parents, came to the Jharsuguda police station and lodged an FIR against Ali. Police registered a case under Section 354 and Protection from Children for Sexual Offence Act against Ali.
