The State Assembly was adjourned at least for 20 minutes as Opposition Congress MlAs stormed into the Well of the House demanding the Speaker’s ruling over a breach of privilege motion against Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy for allegedly providing false information on farmers’ suicide.
The din occurred while a debate was going on in the House over the privilege notices brought by Congress members Naba Das and Kailash Chandra Kuleshika during the Zero Hour.
Unable to run the House, Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned the House till 12.15 pm.
