Aadhaar No. must for return to State

PNS

People, who are stranded in other States and wishing to return to Odisha after the lockdown, have to provide their Aadhaar numbers and mobile numbers during registration with the State Government. This was informed by Panchayati Raj Secretary DK Singh on Saturday.

These people have to abide by this while filling up the registration forms. Also, they have to mention details like category of the traveller, name and gender, from where they are returning and where they want to go.

The form can be filled either by self or a relative. Besides, the Government has appointed gram panchayat nodal officers and ward nodal officers to help people fill up the forms.

Meanwhile, Government Chief Spokesperson on Covid-19 Subroto Bagchi said, “There are no lapses in the whole-of-Government approach. But the Chief Minister has sought a whole-of-society approach to bring back Odias stranded in other States.”
