The second-phase evaluation of Plus II answer-sheets beganon Monday with teachers doing the job in two shifts.
Earlier, keeping in view the delay in the first-phase offline (manual) and online evaluation, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) had decided to conduct online evaluation of Science and Commerce papers in two shifts and the second phase offline valuation from April 18.
The teachers were conducting e-evaluation of Science and Commerce answer scripts in two shifts, the first shift from 8 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Meanwhile, the CHSE authorities said if the valuation goes smoothly, there would be no delay in publishing results in May first week.
In view of the inordinate delay in the manual valuation due to absence of a large number of teachers, the first phase of manual valuation continued without any gap till all the answer scripts were valued.
