The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) on Sunday alleged that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Additional Secretary Pradipta Mohapatra are using the Government machinery for benefit of the BJD and demanded suspension of Mohapatra.
“CMO Additional Secretary Pradipta Mohapatra had written to the Kendrapada district Collector to invite all BJD leaders of the district to the Chief Minister’s programme at Mahakalapada held on December 8. Thus, Mohapatra has violated the India Civil Services Code,” alleged PCC Media Cell chief Satyaprakash Nayak at a Press meet here.
He said the PCC would soon lodge a complaint at the Department of Personnel and Training, the Union Government against Mohapatra.
Alleging that the Chief Minister is also working for the BJD in Government programmes, Nayak said his party would approach theElection Commission of India and lodge a complaint against the CM soon. Nayak demanded that the Chief Minister tender an apology before people of the State for working for the BJD in Government programmes and suspend Mohapatra for violating service conduct.
